Terms of Use

Short, honest, and limited to what this app actually is.

1. What NeuroMinder is

NeuroMinder is a free, open-source task manager released under the MIT licence. You may use, copy, modify and host it under that licence, which is included in the source repository. There is no fee, no subscription and no paid tier. It can be run on Lovable or self-hosted on any static or server-capable host you choose.

This application was built entirely using Lovable AI, and the generated source is open for anyone to inspect, run, or modify.

2. Not a medical or clinical tool

NeuroMinder was built from lived experience of AuDHD. It is not a medical device, not a diagnostic tool, and not a substitute for professional healthcare, therapy or crisis support. Slothie is a software character generating supportive text, not a clinician. If you are in crisis, please contact local emergency or crisis services.

3. Your data is your responsibility

In local mode your data lives only in your browser. That gives you strong privacy, but it is not absolute: the host serving the app may keep standard server logs, and your browser, device or extensions may access local storage. If you clear your browser storage, use a different device or browser, or lose the device, the data is gone and cannot be recovered by anyone. Export your data from Settings if it matters to you.

If you enable Claude/MCP sync, a copy of your data is stored against your signed-in account, as described in the Privacy Policy. No backup, uptime or retention guarantee is offered.

4. AI features and third parties

AI features work either with your own Anthropic or OpenAI API key, or by connecting Claude via MCP. In both cases you are also bound by that provider's terms, and you are responsible for any usage costs they charge you. Keep your API key private; anyone with access to your browser profile can read a key stored there.

AI output can be wrong, incomplete or inappropriate. Check anything that matters — especially deadlines, commitments and anything extracted from an email — before acting on it.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use a hosted copy of NeuroMinder to store unlawful content, to attempt to access another person's data, or to disrupt the service for others. Access may be withdrawn from a hosted instance if it is misused; the software itself remains yours to run under the MIT licence.

6. No warranty

As stated in the MIT licence, the software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the author is not liable for any claim, damages, data loss or other liability arising from the software or its use.

7. Changes and contact

These terms may change as the app changes; updates appear here and in the open-source repository history. Questions or concerns: Suman Saurav on LinkedIn.

These terms describe the software as published. If you deploy your own copy for other people, you are the operator of that deployment and responsible for it.
